A variety of methods to meet unique needs

Targeted Treatment for Individuals

Each person who comes through our doors has their own background, interests, strengths, and challenges. Every one of us is unique, so it makes sense that our treatment needs are, too.

Proven Methods, Trusted Professionals

No single modality can meet every treatment need. That’s why we firmly believe that successful treatment combines a diverse range of powerful methodologies that work together. We use proven clinical methods like NARM, IFS, EMDR, and ACT paired with peer accountability, family work, neurofeedback, and more to foster support, discovery, and healing.

NARM

The NeuroAffective Relational Model addresses attachment, relational, and developmental trauma, by working with the attachment patterns that cause life-long psychobiological symptoms and interpersonal difficulties. These early, unconscious patterns of disconnection deeply affect our identity, emotions, physiology, behavior, and relationships.

EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing is one of the proven methodologies we use to treat the unresolved emotional trauma that can keep us stuck. Chronic symptoms left behind by the survival reaction to trauma are addressed using simple movements or sounds that are very effective in allowing the patient to process painful memories and move forward.

ACT

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy emphasizes acceptance as a way to deal with negative thoughts, feelings, symptoms, or circumstances. This approach carries a host of benefits including helping people stop avoiding specific thoughts or emotional experiences out of habit. Increased acceptance can lead to increased flexibility, resulting in other positive changes.

Individual/Group Therapy

One-on-one therapy is an important part of the treatment process, but it’s just one aspect of our program. Group therapy also plays an important role as patients find community, camaraderie, and peer support that can lead to important insights. It can also mimic the family dynamic and is often credited with providing the framework for lasting recovery.

Neurofeedback

Our Brain Center employ state-of-the-art equipment that allows patients to learn to improve their self-regulation skills. Methods can be tailored to each individual’s current status, and neurofeedback is always led by a trained technician. This and other scientific, evidence-based techniques relieve anxiety and calm the brain to prepare it for the deeper work of treatment.

IFS

Internal Family Systems is a powerfully transformative, evidence-based model of psychotherapy that is based on the idea that the mind is naturally multiple and that is a good thing.  Our inner parts contain valuable qualities, and our core Self knows how to heal, allowing us to become integrated and whole. In this empowering paradigm, all parts are welcome.
